HR Leadership and Collaboration, Health and Safety

The objective of the section is to establish, maintain and develop the best possible framework for well-being and the working environment, leadership development and the collaboration and working environment structures at the university.

Head of section is Mette Vase.

Main tasks:

• Ensure and develop systematic work environment efforts across the university, e.g. preparation, implementation and follow-up on the WPA
• Handle contact with the authorities of the Danish Working Environment Authority, the National Board of Industrial Injuries, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency etc.
• Handle cases related to work-related injuries and perform internal audits of occupational health and safety
• Provide operational assistance in relation to the physical working environment
• Providing secretariat services and supporting the General Collaboration Committee, subcommittees as well as the joint occupational health and safety committee at UCPH and the faculty occupational health and safety committees, conducting elections to the OHS organisation and supporting the development of collaborative and occupational health and safety structures across the university
• Develop initiatives to improve collaboration and the working environment at UCPH
• Offer operational assistance to managers with a focus on well-being, e.g. challenges with stress, collaboration issues etc.
• Develop and offer leadership development with a focus on both personnel management and strategic personnel and organisational development
• Offer customised courses for managers and management groups, management sparring and feedback
• Develop and implement strategies and approaches, guidelines and policies, concepts and tools within the subject areas in the section.
