HR Systems and Data

The purpose of the section is to maintain and develop digital support for HR processes and problem solving. In addition, to handle data ownership in the HR area as well as data and analysis tasks.

Head of section is Frank Güsmer.

Main tasks within the systems area:

  • Drive and further develop digital solutions that support business processes in the HR area.
  • Assume commercial system ownership of HR systems in close cooperation with UCPH IT:
    • Resolve issues and provide support.
    • Develop and maintain system manuals and guidance on KUnet.
    • Educating users from Campus administration HR and departments in the use of HR systems.
    • Communicate with users about user-relevant system issues.
  • Assume responsibility for information security in the HR area.

Main tasks within the data area:

  • Assume ownership of HR master data and data models within the HR area, including data and concept ownership.
  • Develop and maintain statistics and reports to support operations.
  • Quality assure and provide data and statistics to government agencies and institutions, e.g. data on recruitment of researchers to Statistics Denmark and holiday and absence data to the Danish Agency for Public Finance and Management.
  • Quality assurance and supply of data for use in organisational changes, workplace assessments, annual reports, and strategic reporting.
  • Converting data into analyses that support operations.
  • Build and facilitate competence networks for reporting, statistics and data quality with Campus administration HR – especially with a view to knowledge sharing, common methods and common solutions.
