HR Payroll

The purpose of the section is to support coherent payroll tasks across UCPH, handle cross-organisational payroll operational tasks as well as handle payroll and personnel administrative operations in the non-monthly paid area.

The head of section is Sarah Marie Birch Christiansen.

Main tasks:

  • Support uniform and coherent payroll administration across UCPH.
  • Advising and guiding Campus administration HR and supporting error handling.
  • Handle UCPH cross-organisational operations in relation to, among other things, pensions, taxes, holiday pay, reimbursement, banking, accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, and social security contributions to foreign authorities.
  • Handle payroll and personnel-administrative operations in the non-monthly-paid area, i.e. Handle payments relating to hourly pay, fees, examiner and assessment fees, scholarships, subject support teachers, royalty, grants and honorary gifts, among other things, as well as processing pay-related personnel cases, complaints, etc.
  • Handle UCPH's contact with authorities and external stakeholders regarding the payroll area.
