The division is to ensure that UCPH gets as much research, education and administration as possible from the funds available and takes on its societal responsibility within the framework of the law.

- Strategic and tactical procurement tasks such as policies, category management, planning, contract management, sourcing, tendering and procurement law
- Infrastructural tasks such as management information, procurement processes, skills development and organisation
- Developing sustainable procurement.
