Accounts Section
The Accounts Section ensures correct and timely accounting as the basis of UCPH’s monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
- Accounts for UCPH, including facilities
- Creditor and debtor management
- Treasury, bank activities, liquidity and asset management
- Supervision and controlling
- Audit (Deloitte and the Danish National Audit Office)
- Rules and support for administration of UCPH’s externally funded research projects
- VAT, duties, energy taxes and customs
- Accounting centre
The Accounts Section has about 40 employees, who are organised in four units:
- University Accounts
- University Bookkeeping
- University Controlling
- Accounting Centre
The Accounts manager is responsible for the overall operation of the department. The unit managers report to the Accounts manager and are responsible for day-to-day operations of their units.
Accounts Section has a management group consisting of the Accounts manager and two unit managers:

- Allan Vølding Pedersen (Unit manager, University Bookkeeping and the Accounting Centre)
