Construction Management
The division is responsible for:
- Implementing all major programmes and construction projects in UCPH Buildings – from organisation to execution, progress, quality assurance, transfer and commissioning.
- Managing project finances, risks, schedules and suppliers across complex programmes and construction projects.
- Coordinating with campus administrations, including operations, planning and faculties, to ensure coherence in the entire value chain and timely involvement of construction competencies.
- Drafting decision-making proposals and contributing to the strategic development of the University’s building portfolio.
- Collaborating with external stakeholders, including the Danish Building and Property Agency, foundations, authorities, neighbours, advisers and contractors.

The division comprises two sections:
The section
- deals with the early and strategic phases of the University’s construction projects.
- works closely with faculties, departments, external foundations, Planning and other stakeholders to ensure that project ideas, needs, functions and frameworks are clearly defined before project start.
- translates the University's technical and strategic wishes into clear construction programmes that form the basis for projects’ further progress.

The section
- is responsible for implementing UCPH construction projects when they transition from maintenance needs and programme to realisation.
- runs projects from programme to completion and ensures progress, quality, coordination and transfer to users in relation to internal and external stakeholders. This includes project management and being in charge of everything from schedules and finances to consultants, contractors and authority processes.
