LGBTQIA+ employee network
The network is for all employees at the University of Copenhagen - both academic (VIP) and administrative (TAP) staff - who identify within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. LGBTQIA stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual.
About the network:
The network was established in June 2019 and meets as often as there are resources available to organize gatherings. Sometimes there is an agenda, while other times it's simply an opportunity for colleagues to come together. We usually meet outside of regular working hours, either at Studenterhuset or one of the university's premises.
Our aim is for the network to be inclusive and accommodating, and our ambition is to strengthen diversity at the University of Copenhagen. We want to be a resource for our workplace - we have the experiences and skills to contribute to the university's work on equality, diversity, and a united university.
