Eva Hoffmann

Prorector Eva Hoffmann

On 1 July 2025, Eva Hoffmann took office as the University of Copenhagen's Prorector for Research and Innovation.

Born in 1982, she graduated with a BA (1st Class) in Biology in 1998 Sc in Law in 2008 and a DPhil/PhD in Biochemistry in 2002, both degrees from University of Oxford.

The Prorector for Research and Innovation, the prorector for Education, the Rector, and the University Director constitute the University's top day-to-day management, also known as the Rectorate.

Reporting to the Rector, Eva Hoffmann is appointed for a five-year term, running until the end of June 2030, with the possibility of a three-year extension.
