University Director Søren Munk Skydsgaard

Søren Munk Skydsgaard took up his position as University Director at the University of Copenhagen on 1 May 2023.

Born in 1969, he holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen, 1998.

The University Director reports to the Rector.

The University Director, the Rector, the Prorector for Education, and the Prorector for Research and Innovation constitute the University’s top day-to-day management, also called the Rectorate.

Søren Munk Skydsgaard is responsible for the University Administration, comprising of three campus administrations, each headed by a campus director, and eight group units, each headed by a deputy director.
