University Director Søren Munk Skydsgaard

Søren Munk Skydsgaard took up his position as University Director at the University of Copenhagen on 1 May 2023. He was born in 1969 and holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen, 1998.

The University Director reports to the Rector.

The University Director, the Rector, and the Prorector constitute the University’s top day-to-day management, also called the Rectorate.

Søren Munk Skydsgaard is responsible for the University Administration, comprising of three campus administrations, each headed by a campus director, and eight group units, each headed by a deputy director.
