Research facilities

The University of Copenhagen makes its premises, specialist equipment, laboratories, databases and test facilities available to businesses and external researchers.

Renting premises

Associations, organisations, institutions and businesses can rent premises on an hourly basis for events, seminars or conferences. The event must be connected to the University of Copenhagen’s activities and must not be of a commercial nature.

Rules on hiring of the University's communal rooms

Those interested should contact the relevant administrative unit:

  • Premises in the Inner City (Centre for Health and Society and the University Square at Frue Plads) and South Campus.

  • Premises at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at North Campus (the Panum and Teilum buildings, among others).

Photography and filming

With its historical background and buildings, the University houses many coveted locations for photography and filming.

Photography and filming are to some extent permitted in 'public spaces' in the city and outdoor on the campuses.

Photography and filming inside buildings and in courtyards require permission. It must be connected to the University of Copenhagen’s activities and must not be of a commercial nature.
