International Education
International Education is a knowledge centre under the University of Copenhagen's central Education & Students department.
We set direction and advise management and faculties about the internationalisation of education and about partnership content. This is both in terms of interpreting legislation and ministerial orders and by ensuring common practice across the University.
In addition, we spot and communicate new trends within international education to the benefit of programmes and students.
We are organised as collaborative communities around the key areas that we work with across the section.
Main tasks
- Student mobility – promotion of outgoing and incoming mobility, administration of exchange agreements, processing of applications and focus on international students’ well-being.
- International strategic partnerships and alliances – educational activitiesFull-degree students – retention initiatives and student loans to American students
- Copenhagen Summer University – cross-organisational initiative about courses for professionals.
